Category:Low-impact WikiProject Wikipedia essays articles
This is a maintenance category, used for maintenance of the Wikipedia project. It is not part of the encyclopedia and contains non-article pages, or groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories. |
The Wikipedia essays in this category are of little importance to Wikipedia:WikiProject Essays, but do in fact represent the views/opinions/advice of at least a few editors, and may gain greater support (thus increasing in importance) in the future. Essays with rank 101 or below on the weighted score scale are considered low importance.
The weighted score system takes into account number of page watchers (W), pageviews in the previous month (P), and number of incoming links (L). As all three of these metrics are subject to change, essays may be re-rated month-over-month. The importance of essays is determined based on their rank in the list of essays sorted by score. The score is calculated with the following equation: W*10+P*2+L/100.
