Cecily Strong (8 de febreru de 1984, Springfield)[1][2] ye una actriz, comediante y actriz de voz d'Estaos Xuníos. Forma parte del repartu de Saturday Night Live.[3]
Vida temprana
[editar | editar la fonte]Nació en Springfield, Illinois y se crio n'Oak Park, Illinois.[4] Asistió a Oak Park and River Forest High School (OPRF) antes de ser trasferida a Chicago Academy for the Arts onde se graduó en 2002.[5] Dempués d'asistió a California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) onde se graduó en 2006 con un BFA en teatru. Dempués de la so graduación en CalArts, volvió a Chicago onde estudiu nel Second City Conservatory y iO Chicago.[6]
Carrera
[editar | editar la fonte]Strong realizaba presentaciones regularmente en The Second City y iO Chicago. Tamién apaeció en Chicago Sketch Fest, Chicago Just for Laughs, New York Sketchfest, y el Edinburgh Fringe Festival.[6] En Chicago Strong tamién se presentó en Goodman Theater, Bailiwick Theater, Mercury Theater y na compañía femenina d'improvisación Virgin Daiquiri.
Saturday Night Live
[editar | editar la fonte]El 15 de setiembre de 2012, Strong fixo'l so debú como actriz recurrente en Saturday Night Live.[6][7] El 15 de setiembre de 2013, Lorne Michaels anunciu que Strong convertir en copresentadora de la seición de SNL, "Weekend Update", con Seth Meyers empezando l'estrenu de la temporada númberu 39.[4]
Los personaxes recurrentes realizaos por Strong, son “The Girl You Wish You Hadn't Started a Conversation With at a Party”, Kyra de "The Girlfriends Talk Show" y, exestrella porno/modelu que presenta productos pa ser vendíos, como champagne, ente otros, xunto a Vanessa Bayer.
