Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator (1972) is a children's book by British author Roald Dahl.

The book continues directly from the events of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Willy Wonka has just given his factory to Charlie. In a flying machine known as the Great Glass Elevator, they crash through the roof of Charlie's house and tell his family the good news.

On their way to the factory, the elevator makes a noise. Charlie and his family find themselves in orbit around the Earth. An adventure begins with Willy Wonka leading the way.
