Sources of your data changes
[editovat zdroj]Hi, you are making lots of small data changes to infoboxes of various articles (like Autonomní provincie Bolzano or Prostějov). From which sources are you taking all that new data? --27. 4. 2015, 17:26 (CEST), Utar (diskuse)
- Hi Utar, the dates are from the German-WP. Regards -- Sweepy (diskuse) 27. 4. 2015, 23:17 (CEST)
- Can you transfer also references if there are any at dewiki and you can check that info is somewhere in it? Or, at the very least, start using edit summary and add something like "data from dewiki" there? So many edits with little number changes and without any note of source get to seem like silent vandalism pretty soon. Also, please, try do not do such edits when you change data and leave an old reference with it – that leads to false referencing. Thanks. --27. 4. 2015, 23:29 (CEST), Utar (diskuse)
- Hello Utar, will you be so kind to look at Kauhajoki. What did I wrong in the infobox at Obyvatel with the reference? Thanks and regards -- Sweepy (diskuse) 28. 4. 2015, 09:52 (CEST)
- Hi, I found and corrected it. Regards -- Sweepy (diskuse) 28. 4. 2015, 10:24 (CEST)
- Hello Sweepy. In my point of view, most of your contributions use false referencing. This article in Czech neither provide such information as population, density or estimated area of the city, nor refers to something in 2014 as it was published and last checked in September 2008. Maybe it is just the fact, you don't understand the language you are trying to contribute in but please note that your edits in this content do not improve our project at all, in fact I would call them quite dangerous as they lower our level of verifiability and credibility. Please stop contributing in this way unless you are really confident in what you do. Further problems might lead to temporary (or permanent) edit block. Thank you --Mates (diskuse) 28. 4. 2015, 15:07 (CEST)
- Hello Mates, I'm very astonished about your words! Its wondering because most of dates have no references and this was/is o.k.? Ad hoc p.e. Paderborn and very more. Where do you see references? Why accept you this? Where are your edit blocks? I can tell you hundreds examples of this. As mentioned above, I'm very wondering about your threat...Regards -- Sweepy (diskuse) 28. 4. 2015, 18:44 (CEST)
- Last warning: stop with fake referencing. --Harold (diskuse) 28. 4. 2015, 19:16 (CEST)

Summary
Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia, there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" shown under the main edit box. It looks like this: Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature. Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.
