Emily Ngo is an American journalist. She co-authors Politico's New York Playbook which covers New York politics and government at the local, state and federal levels. Ngo reports on campaigns and elections.[1]
She was previously an on-air political reporter with Spectrum News NY1, where she did wall-to-wall live coverage of elections and breaking news events. Ngo also has worked as a national political reporter at Newsday, including as part of the White House press corps.
Originally from Chicago, Ngo is a graduate of the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. She lives in Queens with her family. Ngo has expressed being a fan of both the New York Mets and the Chicago White Sox.
