Hala ibn Umayyah (Arabic: هلال بن أمية‎) was an Ansar companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He was from the Banu Waqif branch of the Banu Aus tribe. He was one of the early converts to Islam, and he participated in the Battle of Badr. He was also the standard-bearer of the Banu Waqif at the Conquest of Mecca.

Hala was one of the three men who stayed behind from the Battle of Tabuk without a valid excuse. As a result, Allah revealed verses 95-96 of Surah At-Tawbah, which condemned their actions and threatened them with punishment. Hala and the other two men eventually repented, and Allah forgave them.

Hala died in Medina during the caliphate of Umar ibn al-Khattab. He was known for his piety and his devotion to Islam.
