Norme (born November 5, 2004),[2] formely known as RNemo, is an Irish–Australian YouTuber, who is known for staying awake for twelve days, causing health problems.[3]
Carrer
[edit]Norme was born on November 5, 2004, in Australia. He has a brother named Don.[4]
The channel was created on December 14, 2020, then his first video, about the meme, was uploaded nine days later. Norme grew in popularity in around 2020s, during the COVID-19 pandemic.[citation needed]
Health concerns
[edit]On July 15, 2024, Norme tried to stay awake for twelve days straight with his brother Don assisting by using methods like splashing water and forcing him to stand when fatigue sets in,[5] while livestreaming on YouTube, for the next month,[6][4] but due to safety and health concerns, YouTube took down his livestream and gave him a community guideline strike about a few hours before he reached the 12-days mark.[7] He then switched to streaming on Kick but was banned shortly. About two hours left into the challenge, while streaming on Rumble, cops have arrived at his door for a welfare check, however, they didn't find anything concerning. He completed the challenge about two hours later.[8]
On October 16, 2024, Norme took on another challenge, staying in solitary confinement for a month with no light, while livestreaming on YouTube, to test if he goes insane.[9][10]
