Olga Milla is a Peruvian singer-songwriter, social communicator and reporter with studies at New York University. She is a speaker on topics related to the conditions of production of Peruvian musical culture. She lives in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, with her husband, the Peruvian guitarist Edmundo Vargas.
She has participated in documentaries about Peruvian music and has been a lecturer on topics about the Tondero genre and Peruvian coastal music in institutions such as the [1] and the [2]. She was invited by the Municipality of Lima to the group Portadores de la Música Criolla, sponsored by the Department of Planning, Management and Recovery of the Historic Center of Lima, PROLIMA, to request the Peruvian government to recognize Peruvian Creole music and song as [3].
