Umoren AKanimoh Felix (Born April 15 1992) , professionally Known as Sugarboy, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter.[1] He rose to fame with his single Hola Hola in 2016[2][3]which was MTV Base Nigeria hottest track of 2016.
Early life and Career
[edit]Umoren AKanimoh Felix was born in Uyo, Awka Ibom. Sugarboy is the first child in his family, He grew up in Lagos State and Niger State, Nigeria. At a young age, he fell in love with music and started practicing musical instruments.[4]
In 2012 Sugarboy met Emperor Geezy and in 2015 he got signed into G-Worldwide Entertainment. In 2016, Sugarboy dropped “Hola Hola” and in 2017 he released his debut album titled “Believe”[5][6][7]
