Eels Time! is the 15th studio album by the American indie rock band Eels. It was released on June 7, 2024, through E Works/PIAS Recordings.

Background

[edit]

Eels Time! features 12 tracks and was written by lead member Mark Oliver Everett[1] at their first in-person sessions following the COVID-19 pandemic.[2] It was recorded between Los Feliz, Hollywood Los Angeles and Crumlin, Dublin, Ireland, and features contributions from various artists, including Koool G Murder, The Chet, Tyson Ritter, and Sean Coleman. On February 29, 2024, the band announced Eels Time! and released the lead single "Time" alongside the news.[3] The semi-titular opening "balmy acoustic number" is a track about the concept of time.[4]
