Summary

Description Seattle activist Vivian McPeak and countercultural icon Timothy Leary at PeaceWorks Park vigil, an anti-war protest action that occurred in Gas Works Park, Seattle, Washington, U.S. beginning Sunday, August 26, 1990 and carrying on through the end of the Gulf War. This is believed to be the only picture of Leary at the vigil; it is certainly the only such photo in the archive of the vigil.
