The menu bar is the stock Mac OS X menu bar, visible in the notifications area are the Bluetooth (connected,) AirPort (connected with three quarter strength signal,) Battery (charged) Day/Time, username and Spotlight notifiers.
The little arrow under some of the icons on the dock represent that they are open and running.
