A photograph showing 'Turbinia' in the dock at Wallsend, taken by W. Parry in 1907. She had been damaged during the launching of a ship at Robert Stephenson's shipyard on the other side of the Tyne. The damage is visible on Turbinia's side. This was repaired in time to steam alongside the liner 'Mauretania' when she was launched later that year.
