Harriet Fleur Dynevor (/ˈdɪnɪvər/; born 15 November 2003) is an English actress, best known for portraying the role of Libby Guthrie in the BBC One school drama Waterloo Road (2024–present).

Early life

Harriet Fleur Dynevor was born on 15 November 2003 in the Trafford district of Greater Manchester, to Emmerdale screenwriter Tim Dynevor and actress Sally Dynevor, who is known for her long-running role as Sally Webster on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street.[1][2] Her older sister Phoebe is an actress, who also appeared in Waterloo Road, as well as Bridgerton and various films.[3][4]

Career

In 2019, Dynevor appeared on an episode of Lorraine alongside her father Tim, in a video message, congratulating her mother Sally for climbing to a base camp of Mount Everest to raise money for Breast Cancer Prevention.[5] She also appeared in an interview for OK! magazine with her mother.[6]

In April 2023, it was announced that Dynevor would be joining the cast of the BBC One school drama Waterloo Road.[7][8] She portrays the role of Libby Guthrie, the daughter of history teacher Neil Guthrie (Neil Fitzmaurice) and made her first appearance in the thirteenth series.[9][10][11] In May 2024, she appeared in an episode of the ITVBe series Drama Queens alongside her mother, when they attended Brooke Vincent's wellness session.[12] Dynevor returned to play the character of Libby in the fourteenth series.[13][14]
