James M. Buchanan (2010)

James McGill Buchanan Jr. (/bjuːˈkænən/; 3 Oktober 1919 - 9 Januari 2013) ialah seorang ahli ekonomi Amerika yang terkenal dengan teori pilihannya (termasuk dalam karya paling terkenalnya, bersama dengan Gordon Tullock, The Calculus of Consent, 1962), yang mana beliau menerima Hadiah Peringatan Nobel dalam Sains Ekonomi pada tahun 1986.
