James Edward Banks (born July 16, 1979) is an American politician who is the United States Senator-elect from Indiana. He is a member of the U.S. representative for Indiana's 3rd congressional district since 2017. He is a Republican.

In January 2023, Banks announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate in the 2024 election.[1] He won the election in November 2024.
