Kōnu Station (甲奴駅, Kōnu-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Miyoshi, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West).[1]

Lines

Kōnu Station is served by the JR West Fukuen Line, and is located 54.7 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Fukuyama. [2]

The station consists of one side platform serving a single bi-directional track. The station is unattended. [2]

History

Kōnu Station was opened on 15 November 1935. With the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR West.
