Krishi Kumbh 2018

Krishi Kumbh 2018 was inaugrated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lucknow to guide farmers to increase cultivation by lowering input cost and training on modern technology. Around 24 companies from Japan,Israel and other parts of the world participated in the event.

Background

Krishi Kumbh 2018 held October 26 to October 28[1] in Lucknow[2] was inaugrated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.[3][4] The objective of the event was to make farmers aware of increasing productivity by lowering cost and using modern technology methods.[5]

Participation

Krishi Kumbh 2018 was participated by around two dozen companies from Japan and Israel.[6] State Governments in India also participated in the conference.[7]

Focus

Krishi Kumbh 2018 was focussed on making value addition in agriculture sector and also improving production of honey and milk.[8]
