Le Locle railway station (French: Gare du Locle) is a railway station in the municipality of Le Locle, in the Swiss canton of Neuchâtel. It is located at the junction of the standard gauge Neuchâtel–Le Locle-Col-des-Roches line of Swiss Federal Railways and the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) gauge Le Locle–Les Brenets line of Transports publics neuchâtelois .[1]
Le Remontoir is an inclined elevator linking it to the city centre.
Services
[edit]As of the December 2023 timetable change,[update] the following services stop at Le Locle:[5][6][7]
- Regio: two trains per hour to La Chaux-de-Fonds, one train per hour to Neuchâtel, and hourly or better service to Les Brenets.
- TER: infrequent service from La Chaux-de-Fonds to Morteau or Besançon-Viotte.
