Macon County, Alabama

Macon County is a county in the U.S. state of Alabama. In 2020, 19,532 people lived there.[1] The county seat is Tuskegee. The name is in honor of Nathaniel Macon, a member of the United States Senate from North Carolina.

Macon County was founded on December 18, 1832.
