In 2009 he wis hired as the lead sangster o the German hivy metal baund Accept, replacin the oreeginal vocalist Udo Dirkschneider. On 5 Mey 2009, he haed his first appearance in New York wi the band. The baund's first album wi Tornillo, Blood of the Nations, wis released on 20 August 2010.
