Mehdi Hashemi (Persian: مهدی هاشمی, also Romanized as Mehdī Hāshemī, Persian pronunciation: [mehˈdiː hɒːʃeˈmiː], born 7 December 1946) is an Iranian actor, screenwriter, and director.[1]

He also is the winner of the ninth International Fajr Film Festival award, Crystal Simorgh, for his playing in the film Do Film Ba Yek Belit (translates "one ticket for two movies").

He is the husband of Iranian actress, Golab Adineh,[2] and brother of Nasser Hashemi.
