Nonna Nikolayevna Terentyeva (Russian: Но́нна Никола́евна Тере́нтьева, née Novosyadlova (Russian: Новося́длова); February 15, 1942, Baku – March 8, 1996, Moscow) was a Soviet and Russian theatre and film actress.
Biography
[edit]She was born into a family of a military man and a theatre actress. After the Great Patriotic War, she moved with her family to Romania, where her father was stationed, and then to Kyiv.
After graduating from high school, she entered the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, but later left it and entered the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, which she graduated from in 1966.[1]
In 1966–1967, she worked at the Electrotheatre Stanislavsky. She successfully acted in films. A photo portrait of actress Nonna Terentyeva taken in 1967 by photographer Vasily Malyshev won first place at the UNESCO photo exhibition in Paris.[2]
In 1967, she married Boris Terentyev, whose father held a position in one of the ministries of the Ukrainian SSR, then returned to Kyiv.
From 1967 to 1971, she worked at the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Theater.
In 1971, after a divorce, she returned to Moscow. In 1971–1972, she worked at the Russian Army Theatre, then from 1973 to 1980 at the Gogol Drama Theatre. From 1980 to 1992 actress of the National Film Actors' Theatre.
She died on March 8, 1996, in Moscow at the age of 54 from breast cancer.[3]
She was buried in Moscow at the Troyekurovskoye Cemetery (section 10, row 1).[4]

Personal life
[edit]She was married to Boris Terentyev. Daughter Ksenia (born July 23, 1969) is a fashion designer, journalist, and was the wife of Vladimir Mashkov.[5]
