Perukua (stage name of Peruquois Frances)[1] is an Australian singer[2] and composer,[3][4] living in Melbourne, Australia.[5][6]

Professional career

Peruquois is also known for her women's work. She creates practices for women since 1988.[7]

It was prompted by rape that she experienced that year leading her into deep understanding of emotional traumas and finding the effective ways to heal them.[8]

Since then Peruquois created more than 50 practices for women.[9]

Her album The Original Essence recorded in 2014 was produced by 3-time Grammy winner Tom Wasinger. It was charted in top 10 cmj chart.[10][11]

Early life

Peruquois graduated as a jazz vocalist from Western Australia Academy of Performance Arts.[21][22]

For her unique vocal she's been often referred as the Voice of the Mother Earth.[23][24][25]
