Her early artistic tendencies were evident in childhood, nurtured by her family's unconventional lifestyle.[1] Chancellor studied illustration at Kingston University and furthered her education at the Royal Drawing School.

Her personal life was marked by health challenges, including lupus and acute myeloid leukemia. Chancellor died on 29 September 2023 at the age of 36. She is survived by her husband Jonny Mckenzie-Wynne, her mother, and her half-sister Tara Scott.[1][3]
