Though perhaps counterintuitive, it's indeed a ratio of Fe:S *less* than unity which produces ferromagnetism roughly in proportion to the Fe deficit, as sources and article body indicate. Mackinawite (Fe_(1+x)S , where x=[0 to 0.11]) also avoids troilite's antiferromagnetism, but is paramagnetic rather than ferromagnetic.

"Comet dust" isn't really the most appropriate descriptor here as that term generally implies small-sized comet matter that is in outer space; much of the material ejected by the K-T impact was sourced from the Earth itself; and the impactor wasn't necessarily (& probably wasn't; cf. https://arxiv.org/abs/2105.08768) a comet, as opposed to a carbanaceous asteroid.

  • 22:3522:35, 4 May 2021 diff hist +194 Ultra-high-energy cosmic ray Miscellaneous minor amendments. "Cosmic ray electrons" appear widely studied and mentioned by that name in the literature. Should they be separately mentioned in the lead section and/or a separate article created to avoid confusion, given the ~10,000-fold quotient in defining energy scale?
  • 21:5421:54, 4 May 2021 diff hist +31 Ultra-high-energy cosmic ray UHE gamma rays are not equivalent to UHE cosmic rays, though they may be related by energy/momentum-transfer events at least in many cases. Given citation doesn't seem to explicitly support the claim written, but other sources likely do. But also the cited ~10^14eV "UHE electrons" are technically not the ≥10^18eV "UHE cosmic rays" of this article's definition.
  • 21:1721:17, 4 May 2021 diff hist +31 Crab Nebula Gamma rays are not to be confused with "cosmic rays"; CR are those emissions inferred to be massive particles (protons & maybe heavier nuclei), rather than photons which have zero rest-mass.
