Disney came in middle after the production of Wild Force started by Saban as part of Toei/Fox deal. So Disney just let it be completed by the same production crew who worked for Saban. Disney wanted to cancel the show after that. Even the entire fandom and people at Saban Brands acknowledge Wild Force as a Saban season. It's more like a transitional season.

It was part of Saban-Fox deal and was produced by MMPR Productions in California and the budget, pre-production work was done by Saban. Disney came in middle and cut off some of the budget. Disney had no involvement other that. The first half aired on Fox Kids. Disney era begins with Ninja Storm in 2003 when the production moved to New Zealand. Saban Rangernation acknowledges this.
