[edit]I'm not an expert on this, but at current it seems a little bit biased? Furius 10:58, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
There is some good information here. Since it is an article in the English version of Wikipedia, though, it definitely needs copy editing for usage and syntax if nothing else. It's obvious that it was written by a non-native speaker who hasn't quite mastered written English.
Photo
[edit]I tried but I can't find a photo. I think it is because he couldn't be the emperor. He was forgotten in a sense but I'm expanding the article thesedays. We will see what can we do. Deliogul 19:38, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

After the execution
[edit]Although there are 7 sources, The section After the execution needs to be sourced. It reads; Mustafa's army found the execution unfair because they were thinking that the reason of the execution was the political maneuvers of Hurrem Sultan and Rüstem Pasha, neither of whom were Anatolian or Turkish. The first part of the sentence is correct but in Ottoman Empire ethnical origin had never been a matter of debate. Besides even Mustafa' s mother Gülbahar was also a non Anatolian. Wives and issue
[edit]I suggest we remove this section as it appears to be pure original research and no one has been able to provide a reliable source for it since a year ago. Keivan.fTalk 19:03, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
- Currently there are no concubines indicated, which is correct (even if they continue to be indicated on wikipedia slave, even with personal pages full of invented information, and you cannot get them removed). However, the children indicated are real, because I remember having found them in historiographical works, and it is very likely that there were indeed others. As soon as I recover the source I will insert it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.149.133.188 (talk) 09:18, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
Spouse
[edit]What's the issue with the spouses???Are they real??I just wanted to know!! Khondoker Jobair (talk) 10:48, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
- No concubine of Mustafa is known. However, some Slavic wikipedias report lists of them and even has pages about them (such as Rumeysa), but the information is invented or transposed from fiction, obviously without source and moreover in contrast with historiography (for example, to many of they are given the title of Haseki Sultan, which is impossible). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.149.133.188 (talk) 09:21, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
Letter to the Safavids
[edit]The forged letter sent to the Safavids is mentioned twice, in complete detail, with neither mention seemingly aware of the other. I propose we should move all details to the first mention, and reduce the second mention to a reference. 128.119.202.195 (talk) 13:21, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
