Polling Dates

[edit]

Be careful to list the field dates and not the release date of the poll when you add it to the list. Thanks. PollShark (talk) 04:53, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maps of Most Recent Polling Data

[edit]

Why does the map of Republican incumbents show New Hampshire as strong Republican? I haven't seen a single poll this year with a Sununu lead. PNDebater (talk) 13:47, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cuz I'm moron. Fixed already. The Evil Spartan (talk) 18:24, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note on internal polls

[edit]

I've added a note, as on the presidential page, on polls commissioned by or conducted by organizations affiliated with a specific candidate. Some clearly a presenting errors (e.g., the poll by Club for Growth or anything by the Mellman Group), while others didn't (e.g., polls by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee); however, I have included neither of them. The only exception, as on the presidential page, was polls by the DailyKos, which have consistently proved accurate despite the organization's clear left-wing ties.

Admittedly, I had to do much of the marking ad hoc; it was not always easy to see which organizations or persons had certain ties. If anybody believes I've tagged any in error or missed any, please feel free to tag it and bring it here to the talk page for discussion. The Evil Spartan (talk) 16:07, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
