Name?
[edit]I'm not sure whether moving this to Alan Partridge is in Alpha Papa is a little premature - is that little teaser trailer sketch not just intended as a joke about choosing a bad title for a film, rather like the monkey tennis scene? The BBC Films website [1] does have "Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa" as the title listed, though. Weirdly, it looks like the domain listed on the end of the trailer [2] is for sale. Surely they would have bought it before listing it on a widely available trailer?. Bob talk 22:57, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
- I got the impression that the title was simply "Alpha Papa" - the "Alan Partridge is in..." seemed like a play on standard film trailers. Also, the website listed is http://www.alanpartridge-alphapapa.com which currently redirects to http://www.facebook.com/AlanPartridgeMovie — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.195.213.227 (talk) 13:46, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
- The name of the film is simply 'Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa 'http://www.comedy.co.uk/guide/film/alan_partridge_alpha_papa/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.112.6.39 (talk) 17:25, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yup, I have moved it to the title most commonly used in newspapers, etc. Bob talk 19:03, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
Success
[edit]How can a film which barely broke even financially be called a sucess? 115.87.79.41 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 14:16, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- Where does the article say that? Bob talk 22:42, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
"Lynn arrives and thinks Alan is dead, but a paramedic assures him that he will be fine."
[edit]Should "him" be "her" in this sentence? Otherwise the mention of Lynn seems barely relevant. Equinox ◑ 20:26, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
- "Him" is correct (IIRC) but you're right that Lynn is irrelevant there, so removed. Popcornduff (talk) 03:20, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
