Alice Marie Johnson is described on this page as being a "former drug dealer," but she has stated on the record several times that she never sold drugs and was only the source of communication between the actual dealers. She also was not born in Brooklyn, New York. She was born and raised in Olive Branch, Mississippi.2600:1702:25C0:2A90:DD45:6110:E937:CFB1 (talk) 04:27, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree and changed "drug dealer" to "convicted felon", not because of what says/claims, but because it's not supported by the source. Speaking of sources, do you have one for her being born and raised in Olive Branch? Jauerbackdude?/dude.13:13, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
How can she be described as a "_former_ convicted felon"? She is a convicted felon, her conviction was not reversed, overturned, expunged, nor pardoned. Her sentence was commuted and she was released. She remains a convicted felon. She was convicted by a jury of her peers of drug trafficking. She should be described as a convicted former drug trafficker. You can't be a "former convicted felon." That would be like saying "former dead person." Only true if the death was reversed.
