Criteria for Selection of Notable Anime Clubs.
[edit]Noticing Disavian cleaned up the Notable Anime Clubs section. (Thanks for your edits!) What criteria is being used to establish notability and the removal of other clubs? Please share comments so that we can reach consensus. I did notice some of the deleted clubs did not have wiki articles and had external links - which is something that probably should be avoided. Notwithstanding, clubs such as the Northern Virginia Anime Association actually appear in the cited reference #2 of this article [1] further appearance in the Washington Post can be found here [2] which features discussion of the clubs involvement with setting up an anime convention. Should listed clubs only be ones that have wiki articles? It seems 3 of the deleted clubs did not. Thanks AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 14:39, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- I was thinking that I should only list anime clubs that had Wikipedia articles. Not that there aren't other notable ones... I just don't want that section to turn into a link farm. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 15:55, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Suppose that means I'm going to have to create some more articles ^_^*. In the mean time, how about an "external links" section to include notable clubs that do not have articles. Or just put Northern Virginia Anime Association or DC Anime Club and have it link to the non-existent page.AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 16:10, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'd be okay with redlinks. It would encourage article creation :) —Disavian (talk/contribs) 19:19, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Picture of a Club
[edit]For illustration purposes I was thinking a picture of the an anime club gathering would be best. I can take one next month. If others have one please upload AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 16:47, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. Can we please also get photos of the anime club presidents such as User:Graph? Thanks --66.44.76.82 (talk) 22:09, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
