Looking for more resources

[edit]

I am looking to put together a bibliography of Applied Ontological works. I think the article calls for more papers on application than on theory but whatever people have! Alex Jackl 16:55, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

The link "formalontology.org" appeared to go to an Asian housewife helping site now (based on translate). The other "update" led to a 404 error. These are good corrections. (Editor's note: I read this backwards the first time and marked it as "failed". That was an error on my part.) Alex Jackl (talk) 14:38, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Connection to Landmark

[edit]

I just noticed a user took out the connection to Landmark as there was not a reference. The Steve Zaffron reference in the footnotes is the connection to that. Landmark is an organization that supplies training in applied ontology so is directly relevant. Alex Jackl (talk) 15:22, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Someone reverted this again without explaining. This is a clear sourced addition that has been part of the article from the beginning . Please discuss here. Alex Jackl (talk) 14:26, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Applied ontology as a category

[edit]

I would suggest to consider creating a new category "Applied ontology", as it would serve as an upper category for such pages such as "Ontology (information science)", "Social ontology", "Political ontology", "Cognitive ontology" and other branches.
