Also, I consider the information about gearbox, steering, dampers, diff and M drive are not features of the the S85 engine, so do not really belong on this page. Roddyp 18:17, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
The S85 engine doesn't have a dry sump lubricating system! It's got a conventional system with two sumps seperated by the front axle supplied by two oil pumps. One transferring oil from one sump to the other, the other one supplying the pressure system.
The S85 uses a semi dry sump system , with seperate oil pumps for each cylinder head. Also teh S85 has no predesesor . The V8 M5 engine altho some characteristics are shared , because they go into an ongoing model the engines are not the same line,ones a V8 and others a V10.
