Only two fixed lights -- no.
[edit]I have removed the following:
- "This is one of only two lighthouses with a constant light on the Eastern Seaboard. The light does not rotate, blink or flash."
Since I could name three others off the top of my head, I did a fast search through the Light List, Volume I, Atlantic Coast, St. Croix River, Maine to Shrewsbury River, New Jersey (PDF). Light List. United States Coast Guard.. Ignoring perhaps 150 fixed lights that we would not call lighthouses -- skeleton towers and private aids -- there are at least 16 active service lighthouses in Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York that have fixed lights.
