Is it worth noting that Smoker's weapon is not just a staff, but a jitte? Don't try it on wikipedia, it leads to some unrelated martial arts style, but apparently a jitte is a sort of clubish weapon similar to a nightstick, but used by policemen in Japan. Given both the appearance of the weapon and Smoker's occupation in the series, it's a Jitte without a doubt (though I don't believe he ever names it as one in the series). --Mr Bucket 20:00, 19 February 2005 (EST)

Theories and Speculation

[edit]

This section doesn't seem to be anything more than fancruft. I'm not much of a fan of that term, but it's quite applicable here. There may be some viable information in there, but as it is now, it needs to seriously be either fixed, or axed completely.

I don't want to just go an eprform a large deletion like that, especially since there may be some usable info in there. However, I trust someone can come and fix this. --Lordshmeckie 05:14, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any source that shows he's voiced by Marc Thompson? Kirbopher 9/9/06

Nope. Scottie Ray The S 04:01, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merger - Smoker not a villain

[edit]

I don't think this article should be merged into the villain list. Smoker's not really a villain, he's just doing his job. Matty-chan (talk) 16:03, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

4Kids dub voice

[edit]

"Chaser's" dub voice in the 4Kids version is actually Russel Velazquez, who did the vocals for many of the tracks on Pokemon: 2BA Master. He also subsequently plays the other characters we thought Scottie Ray played. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.125.20.156 (talk) 20:31, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Woah, that actually makes a lot of sense. In the 2BA Master song, the voice he used for the evil-sounding guy sounds exactly like Chaser. I can't believe I never noticed that before!
