Reason for creation of article
[edit]There was an original article created in 2005 called Comptroller of the Navy (no mention in title of it being English or British) that later became a page move to Third Sea Lord however following research the earlier post holders role was completely different to that of the latter known Controller of the Navy who inherited the materiel duties of the Surveyor of the Navy. The article Third Sea Lord I felt it was misleading readers to include what was essentially a civilian role of the Royal Navy in an article that is about a military role in the same service. I have now added in the lead of the article that this was a role within the British Royal Navy Service.--Navops47 (talk) 06:01, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
