Needs more substance
[edit]He was the most innovative editor of his day, and the renaissance of the Daily Mail, as a hugely successful piece of applied psychology, deserves to be rationalised and chronicled. 86.145.152.144 (talk) 21:56, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Knighthood
[edit]The comment that he was about to be made a life peer will be cryptic to most people outside the UK. Presumably we mean a life peerage had been announced on dd/mm/yyyy but he died prior to investiture. We also say nothing about his knighthood, which is bizarre.
I can't see the sources but I've read enough about the guy over 40 years or so to have a gut feeling that this is a very poor article. - Sitush (talk) 23:59, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
