Misplaced songs?
[edit]Neither "Let It Out" nor "Firefly" is noted as charting in the article, yet they're both under the "other charted songs" sub-heading. What's the reasoning behind this? Did they both chart in another country which has since been removed from the table? Were they never supposed to be there at all? --DJUnBalanced 21:10, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
Explanation of 25 Sep revert
[edit]Hello Ed Sheeran fans. This edit introduced two "Cite error" messages (see bottom of References section in the resulting revision, here).
The errors added the article to two error tracking categories.
I don't maintain discography articles, so I don't know how to fix the problem other than to revert the edit. My only interest is eliminating the errors and removing the article from the tracking categories. Perhaps someone else would care to implement the editor's improvement in a way that does not create errors.
It would be good practice to always check the References section for errors after an edit involving one of the tables in a discography article. If your edit created one or more errors, it would be good practice to (1) figure out how to correct the error(s) immediately, or (2) revert your edit.
Thank you. ‑‑Mandruss (talk) 02:18, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
Hi, me again. The same thing happened on 3 Oct. 108.228.12.44 created a cite error and walked away. I have reverted the edit for the same reasons as above. Have a nice day! ‑‑Mandruss (talk) 17:16, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

"Happier" is the new single?
[edit]The french Web site Pure Charts indicates "Happier": Ed Sheeran chooses his ballad of break as new single. Read more at http://www.chartsinfrance.net/Ed-Sheeran/news- 106419.html#o63sMQBTV1zHGjjv.99 Land and travel (talk) 14:20, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- I think an English source is preferred. Even translated, I think certain intricacies of wording really matter at times like this. Obviously the term "single" is used, I'm not doubting that, but is there any other instance of this being called a single? Surely if it were, there would be. Ss112 16:32, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- I found other French Web sites which used the term "single", but I did not see Web sites in English presenting it as a new single. Land and travel (talk) 14:58, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
Please modify the reference links of FIMI.
[edit]Some of the FIMI certifications are followed with Music Canada's links, please correct them. Use this link: FIMI Certifications (in Italian).

Nothing on You
[edit]Hello! Ed Sheeran has recently released a music video for his song "Nothing on You"; does that make the song a single or promotional single? According to Wikipedia:Promotional singles, a music video does not mean that the song is a single. However, the song is charting in Argentina's Airplay chart, meaning that the song has indeed been serviced to radio and, thus, has been released as single (at least in Argentina). Could somebody please clarify this? --Swe97 (talk) 18:00, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
Early self-released albums
[edit]Sheeran's self-titled album and "Want Some?" are listed in the EPs section despite being 39 min (12 songs) and 38 min (11 songs) respectively. Shouldn't this qualify them as full-length albums? Is there a hard and fast rule to what Wikipedia considers an album vs. an EP? Also there is no mention of his actual debut album, "Spinning Man", perhaps because there's no digital record of it (as in, the songs are not online anywhere) and Sheeran himself owns most of the copies, but it does exist and was sold circa 2005, so it seems that it ought to be included somewhere.
I won't add or edit these myself since I'm not fully up on Wikipedia's policies here, but I thought this was worth bringing up. Krickis (talk) 08:08, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

6 albums?
[edit]Someone please tell me what the sixth album was. I know No. 6 was described by Ed himself as a compilation album; however, he did say on tik tok that “-“ was his sixth album. Musicboi05 (talk) 18:31, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
