Cleanup

[edit]

This translation from French needs a lot of cleanup. Apart from what I've already cleaned up, here are some things that need attention:

  • Pyramid Society doesn't need to be italicized (18 instances)
  • Overlinking: Repeat linking to each coat color article is unnecessary
  • Excess wikilinks; WP:EASTEREGGs; 5 links to World Arabian Horse Organization
  • Images: too many images are simply decorative, see MOS:IMAGERELEVANCE; not all are positioned where they are helpful to a reader
  • Image captions: few image captions need detail such as the horse's name, the horse show, the stud name and location, or the date
  • Translation: Needs a good cleanup from a native English speaker. For example: "revolting eyes", "The spread of breeding"
  • Consistency: Flips back and forth between calling a specific person "Abbas Pasha" and "Abbas I Hilmi" (for Abbas I of Egypt). Pick one consistent form. Also mentions once each "Abbasids" and "Abbas II Hilmi" -- who are they?
  • Sources: Numerous Harv warnings such as "There is no link pointing to this citation". There are many "sources" which should be "further reading" as they are not referenced in this article.
  • 2 uncited instances related to DAD-IS. WP:OR? See Talk:DAD-IS#Evaluation concludes DAD-IS is generally unreliable for horse topics
