[edit]For this page to not be removed or merged elsewhere, it needs 2 things:
- Reliable secondary sources
- It seriously needs to cut down on the elaboration, especially since there is only one source.

- Please be aware that you are not following wikipedia policies. As the bottom of the page says: This newspaper-related article is a stub, if you want to help please do so by expanding it, not by wanting to remove it or merge it elsewhere. The current source in use is a reliable source, but you are welcome to introduce more. There is no need to cut down on elaboration. The history section follows the company from the time it was founded, until it became a mature, successful company. I'm starting to suspect you are somehow targeting me, since I was the one who wrote this article. Also since there are articles in worst shape, such as El Informador, but you seem unconcerned about those. I have removed your tags until you can provide valid explanations as to why they should remain. Ajaxfiore (talk) 16:35, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
- We both work extensively on La Luz del Mundo, and there's a link to El Occidental in the La Luz del Mundo article. I would in no way interfere with your doings; there just happens to be a link (literally) between our interests. From my POV, I really do think this page needs secondary sources, and we should inquire some outside help. Best of luck, RidjalA (talk) 07:16, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
- As I said, feel free to edit this article by expanding it and introducing more sources (the current source is fine). I do not have much interest in this newspaper, and I am currently unable to improve it. Do as you wish, as long as you stick to policies and provide a valid explanation for anything that requires it.
