Weidig?
[edit]Can somebody please check Büchner's relation to Weidig and the background of "Der Hessische Landbote"?
- See the external links section for the review series on Buchner by Sybille Fuchs; this may help. 36hourblock (talk) 19:25, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
Videos?
[edit]Are there videos of performances of Buchner's work in English?
I cannot conceive of a worthy translation into any language of Büchners work. One might compare it to the short and compressed latin of Tacitus, adding the acute wit of an octogenerian philosoph, who actually lived two decades.
Büchner prize
[edit]Maybe I am wrong, but as a german I have to say, that the Büchner prize is valued the most as sign of literary esteem in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is anounced, reviewed and spoken of much more than the Goethe prize in radio broadcasts or newspapers.--77.186.99.5 (talk) 05:20, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
