merge
[edit]I suggest merging high throughput biology into high-throughput screening. As far as I can tell from reading the articles themselves, there is almost total overlap between these fields, and the difference (if any) between these terms can be briefly clarified in a merged article. --DavidCary (talk) 15:02, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
I think they should stay separate on grounds that chemists and biologists would prefer them to be separate. I've been reading all of the HTS-related pages in preparation for my upcoming presentation at the American Chemical Society on HTS -- I need to clarify what counts as "biology" because the chemists do not want to hear about that! And in the reverse case, when presenting at BioIT conferences, the biologists don't want to hear about chemistry. High-throughput screening in catalysis
[edit]I was wondering if it would be possible to start a new related topic or a sub-topic describing application of hts for catalysis (optionally divided into homogeneous and heterogenous one, further special fields of aplication like e.g. petrochemistry). From my point of view the current article is focused on biology and medicinal chemistry while achievements and technological solutions from the field of catalysis are not addressed at all. Yes, I would like to support this comment and suggest to split chemical and biological high throughput screening. Chemicals refer to the high throughput catalysis as high throughput experimentation.
