Song history
[edit]I don't have adequate sources to add this to the main article, but the song has an interesting history that the article should describe. On 1 March 2010, when "The Cave" was released as a 7-inch vinyl single, the B-side was a song called "Untitled" (See: http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Cave-VINYL-Mumford-Sons/dp/B0037D0MRS). I don't know if "Untitled" was released in any other format and, if so, when, but its commercial history goes back at least this far. Eventually (again, I don't know when) they gave the song the title "Nothing Is Written" and performed it live in many concerts in 2010, including a performance at the Reading Festival on 27 August 2010 which was broadcast on the BBC. You can see that performance and the introduction of it by name here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mO7mrV5n6yM. The song should be instantly recognizable as being "I Will Wait" with a slower opening and omitting the line "I will wait for you". But otherwise it's clearly the same song.
I doubt that either the Amazon page nor the YouTube clip can be used as a proper source here, and even if it can there is nothing on the Amazon page to support the claim that "Untitled" is the same song as "Nothing Is Written" (but again, anyone who has heard both can hear that they are the same). So I don't have sources to add the information to the main page. Ideally there might be an interview that they gave at some time or a review article that mentions this history, but I don't know where there is either. I thought of adding the info above with "citation needed" tags, but I have left it for now. Hopefully someone can find a usable source. 99.192.92.202 (talk) 23:25, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
