Moved to Iranian seizure of the MSC Aries. See below. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 21:33, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
The acronym for Mediterranean Shipping Company is MSC. MCS is a typo. Chomik1129 (talk) 00:29, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- Support: You are absolutely right on that one. I noticed this discrepancy myself and I've collected outside sources indicating the correct vessel name as "MSC Aires" for reference to support such a move: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7. There was one instance I could find of the incorrect vessel name being used, with the incorrect "MCS Aires" being used in the header and first sentence while the correct "MSC Aires" is used in the rest of the article: 8. - I've gone ahead and moved the page myself and fixing the instances of the incorrect name's usage on the article page itself. I referred back to this discussion in my edit summary on the page move. RedMethyst (talk) 04:50, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
