Troubled economy of Angarsk

[edit]

Angarsk could not have "troubled economy" in 1930 for one simple reason - it didn't exist until 1945 even as a plan. Whoever wrote this should learn to read first. Re: Angarsk. Le Grand Bleu (talk) 14:46, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The source referred to the region along the river for development which I corrected. Thank you for pointing it out, albeit in a childish way.--NortyNort (Holla) 19:52, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for correcting an historic error after only four years. Please read the whole paragraph. It still insists the HPS was built to support the town that didn't exist until 12 years later. And check out this article Shelekhov for the proper name of the aluminium plant. It's definitely not called "Shelekhovsk". Le Grand Bleu (talk) 12:05, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It has been clarified. Most editors, I would say, would make the changes themselves instead of being condescending, smug and abrasive. I am no expert on the region and consider no article I start a finished product. Instead of trying to humiliate people in the future, try to be mature and collaborative. Additionally, try to not use bare URL references to other Wikipedia articles in the future.--NortyNort (Holla) 01:18, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I tried being mature and collaborative. Cost me two blocks. No more, thank you. I'll stick to pointing out errors rather than trying to correct them myself. Next time you write about something you don't know anything about, try to find more than one horrendously translated source. Cheers. Le Grand Bleu (talk) 04:04, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It's not what you do, it's how you do it which is why I am not surprised about your blocks. Editors point out mistakes all the time which is the beauty of Wikipedia; all the experienced and knowledgeable eyes. I know I make mistakes and don't care if someone points them out but you ran the discussion aground with your attitude.--NortyNort (Holla) 23:45, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
