Parents
[edit]Search at https://www.freebmd.org.uk/ makes it clear enough that his parents were James Samuel Duckers and Jane Scott, who were married in 1882, registered Barton Regis district, Gloucestershire; where his birth was registered in 1883.
A record on https://nl.geneanet.org/ suggests the marriage was at the Wesleyan Methodist Trinity Chapel, Bristol.
[3] from 1898, about the license of the Fish Inn, Wetheral, and [4] about a fight, involving the teenage Duckers, are presumably related to temperance views in the family. Charles Matthews (talk) 18:40, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
