[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Janeray.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 3 December 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

The Personal life section says "She is married to conductor David Anthony Temple ...", with no wiki link on the name David Anthony Temple. Wikipedia does have a page David Temple, about a conductor called David Anthony Temple. They appear to be the same person. See, for example, page 7 of Jane Ray - Hans Christian Andersen Awards 2018 - UK Illustrator Nomination, which includes the text:

We were in Jane’s compact studio at the end of the garden of her house [...], where she lives with her husband David Temple, conductor of the Crouch End Festival Chorus ...

So I'm inclined to link the name "David Anthony Temple" to page David Temple. Does anyone disagree? Thanks Misha Wolf (talk) 00:49, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In the absence of comments, I've made the change. Misha Wolf (talk) 14:43, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
