uninformed reponses to and decision on requested move

Please first look in a dictionary next time before voicing opinions about spellings and article names. The spelling gib is obsolete and has been for so long that it's not even mentioned as an old-fashioned variant in any modern dictionary i checked on onelook.com and elsewhere! --Espoo (talk) 11:50, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

To be fair, the RM was to Jib not to Jib (crane) which is a different matter because the RM asserted that the crane arm was the primary usage, which it isn't. Having said that, I support your WP:BOLD move of Gib to Jib (crane). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 05:43, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
