Notes

[edit]
  • Added Category:Royal Canadian Air Force personnel of World War II and skiing coaches.
  • Could you find anything on his high school career? Did he play football or anything?
  • What's the Dominion Championships? The article makes it sound like going to the Olympics is a downgrade.
  • "competed against American and Austrian professionals" Those are both linked but Canadisn isn't linked in the lead and Americans is earlier in the body but not linked?
  • "professionals and placed " A lot of ands here. Suggest changing to "professionals, placing"
  • The "Montreal team" is the Montreal Bulldogs.
  • "Baz O'Meara claimed he was ineligible to play due to" should we change it to "play as an amateur"?
  • "re-joined the Ottawa Rough Riders" remove ottawa
  • "before retiring from football" doesnt technically say he "retired"
  • Why is he in the QB cat? Is that the flying wing?
  • "He played the flying wing position" i dont see in ref four where it sayd that unless you are using PFA but thats not what is cited. Where did you get "back" from in the infobox"?
  • "but left before the season start" The season had already started

I think that's all. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 08:11, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi BeanieFan11, review follows: article promoted to GA on 17 October and (just!) nominated within 7 days; article is well written and sources look to be reliable; I didn't pick up on any concerns over paraphrasing (note that the Earwig score is thrown off by proper nouns and attributed quotes); hook fact is simple and effective and checks out to source cited; QPQ has been carried out. Looks fine to me - Dumelow (talk) 21:56, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@BeanieFan11, Dumelow, and Kimikel: I have pulled this from prep 6 as there are already NFL hooks in queue 5 and preps 7, 2, and 4. I will put this back in the next prep 6. I haven't reviewed it myself.--Launchballer 11:20, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just FWIW, this is Canadian football rather than relating to the NFL – but I'm fine with it being delayed either way. BeanieFan11 (talk) 17:02, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies, I should have pinged user:Hey man im josh earlier.--Launchballer 23:38, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
